I had the exciting opportunity to travel to Dallas to capture some engagement pictures, family portraits & a bridal session for Katy & William! I can’t even begin to describe how friendly Katy’s family is. They even treated me to some amazing Texas Mexican food:) I am pumped about their Orange Beach, Alabama wedding this June at the Perdido Beach Resort! Here are the some pictures of our first day of shooting. I’ll have the bridal pictures up in another post. - DAVID

I was pretty excited, and a little curious after meeting Stephanie and Terry & hearing their wedding vision. You see, brunch is something they cherish together & they wanted their wedding day to feel similar. I thought the idea was fun & unique, but was nervous to see how the bridesmaids would handle a 5:30am morning wake up call! To my surprise, everyone was happy & cheery when I arrived at 7:30am:) The day turned even more delightful after experiencing Terry’s Australian family & their accents. Stephanie & Terry picked perfect ceremony & reception locations for a casual themed wedding. Old Christ Church in downtown Pensacola is a gorgeous historical site for wedding ceremonies & the Lee House sets a charming environment for wedding receptions. Congrats to Stephanie & Terry & enjoy your new lives in Australia! – DAVID

Courtney & I met Elizabeth & Joe last February at a Sandestin bridal show & connected right away. We knew that they were our kind of couple then, but the realization during this past Saturday’s engagement session of how incredibly cool & hilarious they are was totally welcomed! We started their session walking around downtown Pensacola & ending at their amazing wedding & reception location, 511 Eleven Palafox. We then drove to take pictures at the gorgeous new Wahoo Stadium. I was soooooooo pumped to be capturing their engagement pictures there! It’s totally one of my highlight shoots as a photographer. I could keeping blabbing or just let the pictures tell the rest of the story:) Enjoy! – DAVID
